AGCOT’s Transformative Projects: Advancing Agricultural Growth and National Prosperity
The Agricultural Growth Corridors of Tanzania (AGCOT)—building on the proven success and legacy of SAGCOT—has extensive experience in designing and delivering large-scale public good projects across Tanzania’s agriculture sector. Through its tested AGCOT model, which emphasizes cluster development, commodity compacts, and strong public-private collaboration, AGCOT drives transformative initiatives aligned with national priorities in food security, climate resilience, youth employment, and rural economic development. Our work is grounded in deep engagement with grassroots communities and strategic partnerships across the agricultural ecosystem.
Over the years, AGCOT has led and coordinated numerous high-impact agricultural projects across the country. Some of our key initiatives include:
- Tanzania Sustainable Soybean Initiative (TSSI)
- YEFFA – Youth Entrepreneurship for the Future of Food and Agriculture
- TADAA – Tanzania–Dutch Agribusiness Accelerator
These and other projects illustrate AGCOT’s commitment to inclusive, climate-smart, and investment-ready agricultural transformation.
